| Description | Destiny is a treasure of a vacation villa designed and built for the discerning renter. Perfect for family reunions, wedding groups or as a corporate retreat with special attention given to making your visit as comfortable as possible. There is a generator, r/o system, private dock slip, and two washers & two dryers. Destiny is rented by the week per bedroom with the bedrooms not rented by the guest being locked off during the rental period. The guest should designate the bedrooms they think they want based on the bed configuration and the views for deposit and contract purposes. When arriving at Destiny the guest can exchange bedrooms for others as long as the total count remains the same. If additional bedrooms are desired at that time the additional rental can be paid and they can be left open. The additional rental due must be paid in cash or a surcharge will need to be added to any credit card payments. The rates are based on cash payments only with any charges to a credit card having the bank charges added to the rental amount. There is a $1,000.00 damage deposit which should be paid with the final payment for anyone who does not have a successful rental history on Hopetown. The deposit will be mailed one week after guest has left to give the caretaker time to fully inspect and clean the home.
The weekly rental rate is any 2 bedrooms for $5,000.00 with each additional bedroom being $1000.00 per week. If all 5 bedrooms are rented it is assumed a maximum of 12 people are going to be sleeping in the bedrooms. It is possible for up to 3 additional people to be accommodated on a fold out couch in the outlook and a trundle with the charge for any people over 12 being $250 per person up to a maximum of 15 people. This applies to all weeks except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years which are by special quote only if available. Rentals booked within 30 days of the rental start date will be offered a 10% discount but the entire rental amount must be wired within 3 working days of the booking. Destiny has an elevator which is available for those with handicapped needs for $500 per week with an extra $1000 security deposit. Although there are house rules the other two main clarifications are that the inside of Destiny is all non smoking and if someone smokes in the house and the smell has to be removed there will be a $250 charge. We are small dog owners ourselves and my children bring large well mannered and gentle dogs to Destiny also. We are not adverse to pets however the bringing of pets is subject to approval of the type of pet and breed if a dog. It especially helps if you have a history of renting with someone that can say your pet is well mannered. There will be an extra $100 charge to bring one pet which does not include any special cleaning or repairs from any damage the pet does. In some situations we have allowed two small dogs that are well mannered.
Deposit, final payment and refunds: 50% of the rental amount is due within 5 working days of a commitment via wire transfer or cashiers check. The balance is due within 60 days of the rental start date. There are no refunds of deposits or final payments so please do not make a deposit or final payment unless you are sure you are coming.
