This cottage is located just a few blocks from the Kure Beach Fishing Pier and Kure Beach's best restaurants. A short drive to the south end of the island is where you find the historic Fort Fisher area which is home to the new North Carolina Aquarium. If spending time at the beach is not enough, you will find plenty to do in Kure Beach and the neighboring towns!!!!!!
There is much to do at Carolina/Kure Beach. A fantastic new North Carolina Aquarium is at the south end of the island next to historic Fort Fisher. Daily programs include divers who swim with sharks and rays and a touching pond for the kids. Just south of this condo is the marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat rentals. A ten minute drive takes you to Downtown Wilmington. The historic riverfront downtown has brick streets, waterfront restaurants, loads of antique shops, horse-drawn carriage rides, and fantastic restaurants.
Across the river is the battleship North Carolina with daily tours. Of course, there is plenty to do right at Carolina Beach with festivals throughout the year, a movie theater as well as fishing piers and the boardwalk. A short drive will take you to a variety of Carolina Beach's best restaurants.
