The historic riverfront downtown has brick streets, waterfront restaurants, loads of antique shops, horse-drawn carriage rides, and fantastic restaurants.
Across the river is the battleship North Carolina with daily tours. Of course, there is plenty to do right at Carolina Beach with festivals throughout the year, a movie theater as well as fishing piers and the boardwalk. A short drive will take you to a variety of Carolina Beach's best restaurants.
